Plastic Free Here?

21st Feb 2018
19:30 - 21:00

Herefordshire Green Network are hosting their next gathering on Weds. 21st February at 7.30pm at De Koffie Pot, Left Bank, Hereford.

This is a chance to find out more about the way plastics affect our waterways – from Herefordshire’s brooks, streams and rivers … all the way to the sea.

There will be opportunities to discuss how we can work together towards a world that is free of plastic pollution and its toxic impacts on humans, animals, oceans and the environment. How can we begin to reduce our own personal use of plastic ... or Herefordshire's use of non-recyclable plastics?

For anyone who was affected by the distressing scenes on David Attenborough’s Blue Planet – and inspired to reduce plastic pollution – come along and share your thoughts & ideas with others, and find out more...

With speakers from:
Marine Conservation Society: https://www.mcsuk.org/
Hereford City Branch of the Herefordshire Wildlife Trust: http://www.herefordshirewt.org/
and news from the inspirational Plastic Free Powys!

All welcome!
